Locations: Stafford City Shopping Centre, Grand Plaza Browns Plains, Logan Central Plaza & Forest Lake Shopping Centre on a Friday only from 9.30am – 4.30pm one site per month.
You will see us on a Friday at the following venues:
Forest Lake Shopping Centre – February & June 2024
Stafford City Shopping Centre – November 2023 & March 2024
Grand Plaza Browns Plains – December 2023 & April 2024
Logan Central Plaza – January & May 2024
Bookings are essential, bookings are only released two weeks prior. Contact our office on 3854 1829 to be added on our waitlist for last minute cancellations.
If you are unable to find a FREE appointment, Kidsafe Qld also offers fee-for-service appointments at our Stafford office, Mater Hospital.

A recent safety blitz by Kidsafe Qld and Transurban revealed up to 90% of car seats are fitted incorrectly.
A correctly fitted car seat can reduce the risk of an injury in a road accident by up to 70% – so it is important to make sure your child’s car seat is professionally checked to keep your precious cargo safe on the road.
Kidsafe Qld has partnered with Transurban to offer a FREE service so families can travel safely.
Already, more than 5000 children are safer on South East Queensland roads as the direct result of Kidsafe Qld’s free professional fittings and checks delivered through our partnership with Transurban.
Recognising the importance of families having access to our service, Transurban is continuing its support by funding free car seat fittings and checks over the next 12 months (Until 30 June 23).
Can anyone get a FREE child car seat fitting or check?
Yes! Thanks to Transurban’s support, Kidsafe Qld’s FREE child car seat fittings and checks are available to anyone that books. Appointments are available Logan Central Plaza Shopping Centre, Grand Plaza Browns Plains, Stafford City Shopping Centre & Forest Lake Shopping Centre. Bookings are essential and released two weeks prior to scheduled dates.
Alternatively, Kidsafe Qld does offer fee-for-service appointments so that you can have your child’s car seat installed, moved or checked by one of our professional Type 1 fitters at our Stafford or Mater Hospital Sites.
I have a growing family. How do I fit everyone in the car?
